Chinese envoy meets Poudel


KATHMANDU, MAR 29 -
Nepali Congress Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chintai held a meeting at former's residence, Boratar, Friday morning.
During the meeting, the two discussed persisting bilateral relations, development agenda and cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Chintai reiterated China's pledge to assist Nepal to her efforts for stability, development and progress while articulating Chinese interest to spur investment and provide support in the areas of hydropower, aviation and road sector, Poudel said after the meeting.
On the occasion, lauding the Chinese cooperation for the development of Nepal, leader Poudel said that the country has ushered into the Constituent Assembly (CA) election with the consensus reached among the political parties.
He said the country has moved towards the course to establish stability, peace and prosperity by ending political stalemate through the means of election.
During the meeting, matters concerning the consolidation of friendly bilateral relations between Nepal and China, increasing cooperation in development sector and contemporary political scenario of Nepal were discussed, said Poudel's aide Chiranjivi Adhikari.
The Ambassador also recalled the well-maintained friendly relations between the NC and China since the time of BP Koirala, said Vice President Poudel. RSS
