General Kayani visits S Waziristan

He interacted with commanding officers of formations and units deployed in the area and emphasised on the importance of sustaining the ‘successes’ achieved in recent years against terrorism.

Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited South Waziristan, a Press release said on Friday.
COAS said continued support of the public and development of the area is as important as military action against the miscreants, the Press release added.
